The trailer needs a driveway that's 12–14 feet wide, and the path should be clear, level, and strong enough for a big truck. The unit can slide off the trailer straight back or to the side, but it usually has to stay within 10–15 feet of the trailer. If the unit needs to be placed farther away or in a tight spot, extra equipment like a forklift or crane might be needed, which can cost more.
